Breaking dawn  
Oh my. Is it August yet? I finished Eclipse again last night and couldn't bear to close it. I guess it's time to start on Twilight again... oh dear.
I need help. Possibly from a professional.

In other news, as you may know, I'm going away soon- now, I want to pack light, so I only want to take one novel with me. But I don't know what to take... so am asking for advice: please comment and help me!!!

Basically, had I not read The Host yet, that would have been perfect. Something kind of long that will keep me going, not too serious that I get bored, and the Twilight/Host kinda thing is as fantasy/sci-fi as I tend to get. As it is, I may just take The Host and re-read it.

Butterflies don't belong in nets...  
Okay, I've done it. I have read twilight, I loved it, and am dying for the next installment... probably still a few weeks away at the library, so I may buy it... It's been a while since I've done the 'not going to bed 'til I finish the book' thing, which was nice. Reminds me that before I was a TV series whore, there was only Buffy, and before that, there were books. Kind of justifies my whole 'working in a library' thing- the job that my mother and my grandfather both thought was perfect for me.

Back to the book- I just loved it- I like light fantasy, where the focus is on the people stuff, not things which are all made up that I don't understand. I like the fact that every vampire writer changes the rules just a little- keeps us on our toes, I'm sure...

I'm hoping the next installment will be even better though- beside her intoxicating scent, why does Edward like Bella so much? And the general popularity? If Bella is to be believed, she wasn't popular in Phoenix- why does she fit in so quickly in Forks? If not fit in, exactly- she's not exactly the same as the kids there either. The only reason she has to offer is the idea that the kids at home saw her grow up, and therefore she didn't hold 'new kid fascination for them', but I don't quite buy that...

Excuse the crappy icon, by the way, I just wanted one, and it's two in the morning, so my PS skills are even crappier than normal, since googling for decent icons is a little beyond me.
